Dark is the Knight

May 25, 2019 - Crimson Knight

Head Curator - Exhibition Designer - Installation - De-installation - Marketing Team

"Dark is the Knight" was inspired by the alluring mysteries of what waits for us in the darkness of the night. With this show, I challenged myself to create a conceptual and immersive installation design to tie the entirety of the event together. Unlike other shows, I also installed design elements within the music performance area to create a cohesive feeling throughout the entirety of the space. I used reoccurring design elements such as floating lit clouds and branches installed in a variety of methods, to create the feeling of a forest at night. All of these design elements were handmade with the help of my incredible team members.

Beats Around the Bushes

Sept. 29, 2018 - T.A.G. Art Tea Garden

Head Curator - Exhibition Designer - Installation - De-installation - Head of Marketing

"Beats Around the Bushes" has been my most challenging show to date. I had to use creative solutions to figure out how to create a show that was outdoors, at night, with very few power sources, no walls, and no money. My goal was to create a mystical atmosphere surrounding this very unique print show.

I Must Be Dreaming

Crimson Underground

April 14, 2018 - Crimson Knight Tattoo & Fine Art

Head Curator - Exhibition Designer - Installation - De-installation - Marketing Team

"I Must Be Dreaming" took place in a very unique area- the horseshoe gallery of a performing arts center. This exhibition was inspired by the whimsical and surrealist ideas of dreams.

"Crimson Underground" was my second show with The Keepers of Bohemia. The premise of the show was to fill the growing demand for experimental and punk art space. This one night only show featured seven Fort Wayne area artists who push boundaries with their work.

Black and White

March 28, 2018 - The Historic Cube House

Head Curator - Exhibition Designer - Installation - De-installation - Marketing Team

"Black and White" was the first show I ever curated and designed. The KOB team worked on an extremely tight budget putting the show together, using our own money out of pocket to finance it. In order to create more space, our team built our own walls. These walls are still used in shows to this day. I also had to come up with creative and cost-effective lighting solutions, as seen in the images.

SBMA Internship

American Series: The Funnies Vintage Comics 1940s - 1960s

For this exhibition, I created two display cases of information on African American comic books. I researched the topic and the specific works, wrote the educational labels, chose the artworks,

and designed the display.
